Why FBTA Requires a Waiver
Since 1938, the Fairfield Bridle Trails Association has worked with private landowners and the Town of Fairfield to build, maintain and enhance the most extensive network of bridle trails surviving in Fairfield County. Miles of trails extend over various real estate including town-owned, land trusts, and 37+ privately-owned properties. In exchange for allowing FBTA to use and maintain these historic trails, all riders sign a Release and Waiver of Responsibility, to protect the landowners.
Please download the waiver, sign it, and email it to fairfieldbridletrails@gmail.com. Upon receipt of your signed waiver, you will be sent your Heritage Trail Map, Saddle Tag, and be added to our mailing list for FBTA membership events and activities.
